Every second Tuesday -from 6-9 pm-hosted by Dennis Pook.

Our first Open Mic Night of 2025! We will have a nice little Bose PA system and we invite local acoustic performers to join us.

Club 240 AKA CRESCENT BEACH LEGION

Join us on Thursday night for live music in an open mic format (15-minute sets) for solos, duos, or groups. Performers - invite others to join you and make it a jam.

We're committed to creating a great listening experience for you. We run the sound system at a comfortable (not loud) level so you hear the performances clearly. Club 240 has a great layout, so for listeners, you can join us in the main room with the dance floor. For socializing you can visit with friends in the bar or games area on the other side of the bar.

Open Mic with slotted 15 minutes sets, in a jam friendly environment with the option of back up musicians for those who fancy a band! Supporting musicians and back up singers are encouraged!

PLEASE NOTE  A DATE CHANGE - 
We have had to be reschedule our next Beatles Reimagined concert to Sunday June 8th (originally it was May 4th. )

 We will be doing two candlelit shows, the first at 2.00pm and an evening performance at 7.00pm. 

All the work behind the scenes writing, arranging and rehearsing the music  is really coming together and these are shows are going to be so wonderful!

About the event

In the first half of the concert, the orchestra will feature the talents of Kieran Martin Murphy, while the second half will present the orchestra performing pieces by Haydn, Handel, Sheldon, and Brahms. Join us for a comedic and unexpectedly educational performance as we delve into the impact of opera on the popular music that shapes the soundtracks of our lives.
